SO-ARM101 Advanced Kit
Teleoperation is the beginning. What comes after it?
The question behind the review.
A leader–follower arm makes robot manipulation tangible. This review will distinguish hand-guided motion, replay and any learned policy—and test what transfers to a new arrangement.
This page is a review plan. Hands-on findings, a recommendation and an overall score will be added after the evidence is collected.
What we’ll test.
Assembly & calibration
Document assembly, firmware, calibration, mechanical limits and the first successful controlled movement.
Leader–follower control
Measure practical teleoperation consistency. Show the person controlling the leader and every intervention.
Replay vs. learned behavior
Keep recorded trajectory replay distinct from trained policy inference. Report the hardware and software used for each.
Transfer to a changed scene
For any evaluated policy, use held-out object positions and task variations. Count attempts, successes, failures and recoveries.
Each measured run will record the task, conditions, control mode, outcome and any human intervention. Test conditions and pass criteria will be fixed before scored trials.
A blank worksheet for repeatable runs and changed conditions.
The scorecard.
Every category stays unrated until supported by actual observations. The published rubric applies to both of our first reviews.
The full video is coming.
The review will pair a clear explanation with complete test attempts, visible interventions and limitations. No reviewer video has been published for this review yet.
